OK, so anyone who went to Escapade already knows about this, but I am reading con reports and living vicariously, so bear with me.

Before the vid show (and may I just add, mad props and love to anyone who went to the trouble of typing up a vid show report) they had filk. darththalia has kindly typed up the lyrics of one of the filk songs performed, and they're brilliant. I wish I'd been there.

It's called 'I Feel Deprived', written by Melissa D. to the tune of Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive', and it's a riff about Sentinel fanfic. I read the first couplet, and then I had to show it to my SO and we started singing:
