Notes
TOS was my first media fandom, and I love it still. I always wanted to make an Uhura vid, but while she shines in every scene she's in, I found that there just aren't enough of those scenes for a full vid -- at least not one set to a fast and upbeat jazz song. So the theme for this vid morphed into 'life aboard the Enterprise, seen through Uhura's eyes'. Or possibly 'outtakes from the Captain's Log, carefully collated and edited by the Senior Communications Officer for the annual staff party'.
On a more technical note, TOS has gallons of beautifully lit, gorgeously colored and incredibly static footage, so my personal challenge for this vid was to make things move; I mostly used fast cuts and jump cuts as well as all the internal motion I could find.
Feedback would be wonderful!
