roo2 and halimede pointed out that I could offer them on a free-to-take site, like Freecycle in the US. I didn't think anyone would want them, since they're up to 15 years old, but what the hey, I posted a notice.
I just gave away 60 VHS tapes to an elderly man who grinned from ear to ear and thanked me profusely.
I'm smiling, too.
